How to cancel Netflix
Cancel Netflix from your account page in a few clicks. You keep watching until the end of the billing period.
Steps to cancel Netflix
In a web browser
- Sign in at netflix.com and choose your profile.
- Open Account from the profile menu.
- Select Cancel Membership under Membership & Billing.
- Select Finish Cancellation to confirm.
If Apple, Google Play, or another company bills you for Netflix
- Open your Netflix account page and check the billing partner listed under Membership & Billing.
- Cancel with that company instead; Netflix can't cancel a partner-billed plan for you.
Before you cancel
- Cancelling stops the next charge. Access continues until the current billing period ends.
- Cancelling doesn't delete your account. Profiles and viewing history are kept for a limited time so you can restart.
- Partner-billed accounts (app stores, cable, or phone carriers) must be cancelled with the partner.
What happens after you cancel
You'll get a confirmation email. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then streaming stops.
Netflix generally doesn't refund the unused part of a billing period.
