Steps to cancel Amazon Prime
On amazon.com
- Sign in and open Account & Lists, then Prime Membership.
- Select Manage Membership, then Update, cancel and more.
- Select End Membership.
- Keep choosing the option to cancel on each follow-up screen until you see a confirmation.
Before you cancel
- Amazon shows offers to keep or pause your membership; the cancel option is usually the smaller link.
- If you haven't used Prime benefits since your last charge, you may qualify for a full or partial refund.
- Shipping, Prime Video, and other Prime benefits end when the membership does.
What happens after you cancel
You'll get a confirmation email. Benefits typically continue until the end of the paid period unless Amazon issues a refund and ends them immediately.
A refund may be available if you haven't used benefits since the last charge.
