How to cancel Uber One
Cancel Uber One in the Uber app under Manage Membership, and do it before the renewal deadline to avoid another charge.
Steps to cancel Uber One
In the Uber or Uber Eats app
- Tap your profile icon, or Account.
- Select Uber One.
- Scroll down and select Manage Membership.
- Select End Membership.
- Choose a reason if asked and continue through the follow-up screens.
- Select End Membership one more time to confirm.
If you're past the deadline or can't cancel in the app
- Open Help in the Uber app, then choose Membership and Uber One.
- Contact Uber support and ask them to cancel before your next billing date.
Before you cancel
- Cancel at least 48 hours before your renewal date to be safe. Uber's help pages give 24 to 48 hours depending on your country.
- Uber One credits and Uber Cash earned through the membership can be revoked when it ends, so spend them first.
- If you're on a free trial, your benefits end as soon as you cancel. On a paid plan they last until the billing period ends.
- Subscription charges are generally non-refundable once a billing cycle begins, except where local law or a cooling-off period applies.
What happens after you cancel
On a paid plan you keep Uber One benefits until the end of the current billing period. After that the membership discounts and delivery-fee savings stop.
Some regions have a cooling-off period or refund a cancellation made soon after you sign up. Check Uber's help page for your country.
